Help with tonight’s Ritual

Sharkcine · iOS 16+ · Apple ID 6803804916

Four tabs: Ritual, Shelf, Chronicle, Archive. Seal cites a title — it never plays the film. No login is required. Search on Ritual answers rules (Seal, Together, Shelf, playback).

Getting started

Optional Shelf of candidates → Ritual (Intent × Method) → Seal → watch on your own player → Chronicle notes and Archive receipts.

Frequently asked questions

Does Sharkcine play movies or shows?
No. Every title is a citation. Seal writes a receipt; it never starts playback. Open the film on your own player, service, or cinema.
Pick one vs Browse three?
Intent is Solo, Together, or Surprise. Method is Pick one or Browse three. Together always handshake first. Both write a receipt — still no playback.
How do I use Shelf as the Seal source?
Add titles on Shelf (cite TMDb or add by hand). Then Ritual setup → Where titles come from → Shelf. TMDb is citation-only and expects English queries.
How do Live Notes and the microphone work?
In Chronicle, record while you watch elsewhere. Mic and speech recognition are for on-device transcription and are not uploaded to our servers. Deny the mic and you can still Seal, use Shelf, and Archive.
How do I share or export?
Open a receipt in Archive to share. Export receipts as JSON via the system share sheet. You choose where the file goes.
Why is Seal or search empty?
TMDb search and TMDb-sourced Seals need a network. If source is Shelf and the list is empty, add titles or switch source to TMDb. Broaden taste filters or try Surprise.
Where do titles come from?
Metadata and posters come from The Movie Database (TMDb). This product uses the TMDb API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDb.
